Innovate to Elevate: School’s Innovation Project got recognition at the State Level Science Model Competition

Jacob Jinoy, a brilliant Class XII student, stood tall at the State Science Model Competition in Lucknow, hosted by the UP-government's Science and Technology Department. His outstanding prototype for water purification garnered a trophy and certificate, a testament to Jacob's commitment to scientific innovation and environmental excellence. His achievement reflects the poetry of progress through science.

 

CBSE organised the Science Exhibition in Manthan School, Greater Noida West on 15 & 16 December 2023. Around 50 schools exhibited various science projects. Our school two projects were displayed in the exhibition KISSAN ROBO & CAR SEAT BELT. Kaoustubh & Yogyaa presented Kissan Robo & Car Belt was presented by Fancy Srivastava.

 

Shreyash Srivastava Excels in MUN and YUVAI Program

Shreyash Srivastava of class X A from Jaypee Public School, Greater Noida, achieved remarkable success on multiple fronts. On 29th October, Noida MUN, he clinched a High Commendation in the United Nations Human Rights Council as Norway's delegate, earning a trophy, Rs 1500 cash prize, and a certificate at Fr. Agnel School. Additionally, Shreyash's project "VISIONX AI” secured a spot among the Top 50 AI- enabled social impact solutions in Phase 3 of the YUVAI program from 26th Nov, to 29th November. His innovative endeavor was part of the collaboration between the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, Digital India, National e-Governance Division, Government of India, and INTEL. He attended a workshop in Ahmadabad where his project stood out among 10,000+ entries.

 

Moreover, Jaypee Public School proudly announces the Best Delegate award earned by its students at the 'Joust MUN' hosted by the Jaypee Institute of Information Technology. Shashwat Agarwal (XI D) showcased excellence in representing Germany in the UNEP committee, attaining the title of Best Delegate. Rakshit Garg (XI C) also contributed significantly to the success, making it a fantastic and diplomatically enriching experience for both students.

State Level Achievement

Our class XII student, Jacob Jinoy, made us proud at the State Science Model Competition held in Lucknow by the Science and Technology Department of the UP Government. Jacob received the trophy and certificate! His exceptional prototype model designed for cleaning water of the rivers and other water bodies earned him this well-deserved recognition. Jacob's dedication to scientific innovation and environmental impact is truly commendable.

 

 

Inter School Competitions

‘Confluence’ an Inter School Competition was held in Pragyan School, Greater Noida. Students from Nursery to IX participated in various competitions. Students won 3rd prize in ‘VERSES IN HARMONY’ ‘FOLK FRENZY’ .

With immense pleasure wanted to share that our students -Akshita and Aadit from 9D bagged 2nd prize in Spark Tank Competition organised by Bennett University, Greater Noida. Students won Rs. 30000 cash prize. Around 58 schools from all over Delhi-NCR participated in this event.

 

 

INTERNATIONAL ACHIEVEMENTS

Representing India in the Global Youth Leadership Summit during the World Summer Games 2023.

Our unified team, mentor Ms. Neeraj Singh (HOD, Sports) Sagar Kapoor young athlete in grade IX, and Shashwat Agarwal young athlete in grade XI, has represented India as part of the global youth leadership Summit IN Special Olympics world Games 2023 .
The Global Youth Leadership Summit 2023 took place alongside the games, bringing together young leaders from various countries. Two teams from India were selected to participate in the summit, one from a university and one from a school. The school team representing Jaypee Public School Greater Noida consisted of Shashawat Agarwal (Class XI, Non-ID), Sagar Kapoor (Class IX, ID), and their mentor, Ms. Neeraj Singh, HOD PE & Sports. The team's project, titled "Let's Connect- Sathi," focused on inclusive education through sports and aimed to contribute to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 16 and 4, promoting quality education. The project began in 2020 and received recognition, leading to its selection for the National Youth Summit held on November 10-11, 2022, in New Delhi.
Finally, the team was chosen to represent India at the Global Youth Leadership Summit 2023, held during the Special Olympic World Games in Berlin from June 16th to June 25th, 2023.
The summit provided a global platform for young leaders to discuss and exchange ideas on inclusion and leadership.The Jaypee team had the privilege of attending a workshop with international leaders of inclusion, including Timothy Shriver, Chairman of Special Olympic International, and Dr. Katarina Barley, Vice President of the European Parliament, Susan Liautaud, Vice Chair, Global Partnership for Education, Jochen Flasbarth, State Secretary, German Federal Ministry for Economic among other renowned leaders.The team actively participated in the Global Forum for Inclusion - Partnering for Action, moderated by Victoria, an ESPN Sports Center host.
The experience allowed the team to gain valuable insights, inspiration, and networking opportunities to further their project on inclusive education through sports.The event witnessed participation from more than 185 countries worldwide, fostering a truly global dialogue on youth leadership and inclusion.
Overall, the participation of the Jaypee Public School Greater Noida team in the Special Olympic World Games 2023 and the Global Youth Leadership Summit provided a remarkable platform for showcasing their project and engaging with international leaders, contributing to the global conversation on inclusive education and youth leadership.

NATIONAL LEVEL ACHIEVEMENTS

Highbrow Achiever of Science Stream Laksh Singhal of grade 12 and Tejas Chaudhary made a mark in IIT-JEE by securing rank 402 with NTA scores of 99.7 and 98.9 percentile respectively.

 

It’s a glorious moment that swells our hearts with pride as Ridhima Yadav of XII D made a mark in NIFD with a rank of 335.

Mathematicians in making at ARYA BHATTA GANIT CHALLENGE

The scholars of grades IX and X Tanmay Gupta,Rashi Singh, and Shreyas Rastogi carved a niche for themselves by getting placed amongst the top 100students from Noida Region of CBSE, in the CBSE ARYA BHATTA GANIT CHALLENGE, held on 25th November 2022.

 

Highbrow Achiever of Science Stream

Lakshay Singhal of grade 12 qualified for the IIT mains by securing 99.74 percentile. He also got selected amongst the top 35 students out of 40000 aspirants in the INPHO (Indian National Physics Olympiad) held on 29th February at Indian National Physics Olympiad. All the best to Lakshay for the next round of selection at the HBCSE research center, in Mumbai.

Inter House Painting and Sketch Making Competition

"The response of man's creative soul to the call of reality is art…" ~ Rabindranath Tagore
To help the learners express their imagination and creativity in the form of art, an Inter-House Poster Making and Sketch Making Competition were organized for the students of class 9-12th grades on 20th April, 2022 on the theme 'Remembering Rabindranath Tagore'. All the students from the above-mentioned classes spontaneously participated in the competition and presented their imagination, talent, and artistic skills immaculately and vividly. The students left everyone awe-struck with their magnificent artwork. The judge for the event, Mr. Sujit Sutradhar, impressed by the enthusiasm and fine art skills of the students, announced the results on the same day.

“Tech gives the quietest student a voice”
Once again Techno wizards have made their mark!

Jaypeans proved their mettle again as for the second consecutive year. Our school students Master Syed Affan and Vedang Goel (Grade XI) have made a mark in the National Level 4thTechnovationHackathon& Innovation Budge (Organized by Sharda University) by bagging FIRST PRIZE for developing a DTM App.

Leadership is the capacity to translate vision into reality!

The School Principal Ms Meeta Bhandula was felicitated with the title A Game Changer as a Pedagogical Leader for her meticulous planning and contribution in empowering staff in implementation of NEP 2020 by NCERT Secretary MAJOR Harsh Kumar at National NEP Summit, NCERT, organized by Edutalk and Rishihood University.

Achintya Krishnan of grade XII Sci. (2020-21) has added one more feather in Jaypean’s cap by qualifying the following exams

Taaran Chandna of grade XII Sci. (2020-21) has also made us proud by qualifying the JEE Main exam with CRL-2343.

Potential is not an endpoint but a capacity to grow and learn! In the queue of achievements, one of our aspiring students Aakash Prasad of grade 12 A brought laurels to the school by winning the title Incredible Kids of India under Voice of Choice organized by Edutalk.

It was a panel discussion wherein students from eminent schools of Delhi NCR and North India participated on the topic 'Student Educator Equity in Co-Construction of New Model of Learning Post Pandemic School'.
Aakash Prasad won gold medal and was awarded certificate of "Incredible Speaker" in this virtual event.

Award winning Gond Art by Mishika Bansal

Mishika Bansal of grade VI B, was awarded certificate for securing 7th place and excellent performance in the “Be Proud to be an Artist”, the biggest International Online Art Competition organised by Delhi Art and Culture. Our budding artist executed bold and vibrantly coloured Gond Art on her canvas which received global acclamation.


              

Technovation Hackathon Smart City

Sharda University organized “Technovation Hackathon”, an Online Competition on 25-26th January 2021 to promote development of applications based on programming and coding. They provided some different themes of environment and human problems such as Smart citizen and Governance, Smart Safety Security & Surveillance, Smart Health & Hygiene, Smart Transport & Pollution Control.
Taaran Chandna (XII-A) student of our school made an app for parking to get-rid of crowd and pollution within the theme “Smart Transport & Pollution Control”. He secured 6th position with a cash prize of Rs. 4000.

School is proud of Ms. Varuna Sharma student of Class XIth A, Jaypee Public School, Greater Noida participated in International Conference on “Evidence Based Non-Invasive Therapies: Futuristic medicine” (EBNITCON – 2019), organized by Government Institute of Medical Sciences, Greater Noida on 18th and 19th November 2019 she presented her scientific research paper titled “Acute Effect of Theta Brainwave Entrainment on Attention span Executive Functions in Adolescents and Adults”. It was attended by most eminent scientists, researchers and medical doctors from India and abroad (U.S.A, Brazil, Canada and Italy). The jury consisting of eminent doctors had judged her work as Best scientific presentation. Dr. Patrick K Porter, President, Braintap Inc. U.S.A awarded her with a gold medal and shield for her innovative work in the field of brainwave entrainment and cognitive enhancement. Her interview was recorded and taken by print and social media across India, USA, Canada and Latin America. She completed her work under the guidance of Ms. Prathiba Sharma, Psychology Teacher, Principal Ms. Meeta Bhandula and Dr. Anand Pratap Singh, Head of the Department of Psychology, Gautam Buddha University. She has brought laurels and fame to the school and made her parents and teachers proud. She wants to continue her research work in ADHD and autistic subjects.
