Special Assembly on Diwali

The students of Grade X-D conducted a Special Assembly on Diwali under the guidance of Ms. Anjali Gilhotra, beautifully spreading the message that the Festival of Lights is not only about illuminating homes with diyas but also about brightening lives with kindness and compassion.

The assembly commenced with the morning prayer, followed by the Thought of the Day and news updates. The highlight of the celebration was a melodious rendition of “Ram Chandra” by the students, which filled the atmosphere with devotion and festive spirit.

A thought-provoking play presented by the students carried a meaningful message — that this Diwali, each of us should take a pledge to bring a smile to someone’s face, making the festival truly joyous and inclusive. Adding to the festivity, the girls’ group performed a vibrant dance on the song “Ram Aayenge”, captivating the audience with their graceful moves and enthusiasm.

In her address, Vice Principal Ms. Anita Pillai commended the students for their efforts, emphasized the importance of discipline, and encouraged everyone to celebrate Diwali with compassion, responsibility, and a spirit of togetherness.

The assembly concluded on a warm and uplifting note, reminding all that the true essence of Diwali lies in spreading light, love, and happiness in the lives of others.
