Dazzling Smiles : Unveiling Dental Awareness Campaign
'Be Proud of Your Mouth' is the theme of World Oral Health Day 2023. To make the students aware of the same, Jaypee Public School, Greater Noida organised a dental check-up for the students on 15th April 2023. It included dental awareness talk, brushing patterns, and educating students about common dental ailments — especially stressing on tooth decay, gum diseases, and the measures used to prevent them. The students were made aware of the eating patterns and food choices which can lead to tooth decay. The young students cherished the chance to interact with the dentists to enquire and gain knowledge about their oral health and maintaining good oral hygiene. The school staff and children thanked the dentists and para-medical staff for rendering their selfless service to the school.
English Enrichment Activity - ‘Who am I'?
Keeping in mind the methodology of Collaboration, students of grade II enjoyed learning the process of growing up through an interesting craft activity. The Teacher explained briefly how a butterfly grows up by narrating a story. It was an exciting session for the students as they created attractive tea coasters by drawing and coloring a butterfly in a circle and pasting it on cardboard with their tiny hands.
Learning by doing- Seed Germination
Seed germination determines continuous plant production necessary for human survival with regards to the supply of medicinal plants, feed for animal grazing, and food security. The activity was conducted on 4th April to enable the learners to learn the basic skills for growing seeds and to take care of them.
A multidisciplinary project based literary activity was conducted on 18th April with an objective to foster the oratory skills of the young scholars in grade III. The learners designed various modes of transport and sceneries and presented a talk on their experiences of travelling . The little scholars showcased their projects with great poise and confidence.
Comparison of International and Indian place value systems

"Mathematics is not about numbers, equations, computations, or algorithms: it is about comprehending’. It is the cradle of all creations, without which the world cannot move an inch..A bookmark making activity was conducted by grade 5 students to understand the period and place value of any number as per both place value systems. The students were totally engrossed in the activity and it was a great learning experience for them.

ACHIEVERS’ DAY
Giving up the comforts and delving into the unknown and unpredictable abysses, taking a leave from fear and insecurity rather focusing on commitment and imagination, with undeterred and single minded aim, the young achievers of pre - primary wing proved their mettle in scholastic and co scholastic competitions held throughout the session. All the young achievers of grade 1 and 2 were felicitated for their outstanding performance on Saturday 14th May 2022 for creating a new milestone for themselves. All the achievers were felicitated with certificates and trophies by the honorable guest of the day Mrs. Harvinder Kaur, Principal, Sardar Patel Vidyalaya and our affable Principal Ms. Meeta Bhandula .
The budding dancers and singers of the pre primary exhibited their inherent talent through dance and musical performances which left the audience spellbound. The young learners celebrated the joy of childhood through their enthralling performance which took the spectators back to their childhood.
The honorable chief guests in her speech congratulated the students for their success and relentless efforts put in by them inspite of the unprecedented challenges posed by the pandemic. In her message, our ever inspiring Principal Mrs. Meeta Bhandula mentioned that the will to win, the desire to succeed, the urge to reach your full potential are the keys to unlock the door of personal excellence. She congratulated the winners and motivated others to always grab the opportunity which comes along the way to develop wholesome personalities.
Self Awareness week
The Pre-primary wing celebrated self awareness week from 4.04.22 to 8.04.22. The toddlers were made aware about themselves through activities done like sand tracing, tear & paste on the name initials as well. Children made a picture of themselves by looking at their reflection in the mirror. The activity aimed to make them learn acceptance, unconditional self-love and positive self-portray.
Health and Hygiene week
Cleanliness is Godliness
Good hygiene goes a long way in bolstering kids' health & immunity. The Health and Hygiene Week was celebrated from 11.05.22 to 15.05.22 In health & hygiene week children demonstrated ways to maintain good personal hygiene by keeping themselves and their surroundings clean with following activities like brushing teeth, combing hair, washing hand , face and their belonging
Save the earth save the future- Celebrating earth day in our special way
Earth day craft activity was conducted on 22nd April,2022 to sensitize the children to keep the Earth healthy and pollution free. Audio visuals were also shown to children to create awareness about the optimum use of the natural resources and ways to keep mother Earth clean and green. Many art and craft activities like head gear making tear and pasting, hand printing activities were done by the tiny tots of the pre-primary wing.
Book Mark making activity
The book mark making activity was conducted on 22nd April to sensitize children about the current global issue related to the environment.It was an exciting individual activity for the children which aimed to enhance their creativity and aesthetic sense. Creative and colourful bookmarks were prepared by the students of class I on EARTH DAY to create awareness about the need to save natural resources. Innovative ideas were used by the teachers in guiding the children.Children wrote insightful messages on their book marks for creating awareness about saving mother Earth.
Exploring the senses at the Sensory Booth
A Sensory station was put up in the pre primary wing on 12th May to motivate the children to explore and connect to their surroundings. The kids were filled with so many amazing facts and the sense booth day left them with a sense of wonderment about themselves and the wonderful world around them.
Mother’s day celebration
Mother’s day is a special day, for all children and mothers as; it celebrates the bond of love and affection that is everlasting. Mothers are the emotional backbone of the family, who have the magic touch to heal all wounds and make all things beautiful. The tiny tots celebrated mother’s day on 6.05.22 to express their appreciation for the love and warmth showered on them by their lovely mothers

SAVE SOIL ACTIVITY
In tandem with the SAVE SOIL movement initiated by Shri Sadhguru on save soil a myriad of activities were conducted by the tiny tots. Their mentors apprised them about the need to save soil by holding a talk session on the topic. Children made cards & posters by imprinting their hand from soil and painted pots to plant trees.
FRUIT DECORATION ACTIVITY
The little learners of grade I showcased their culinary skills by actively participating in the fruit decoration activity which was conducted in the month of May for students of Grade I. They chose their own themes and came up with brilliant displays (salad decoration) such as ship, fish, the Indian tricolour theme, animals, beach, Christmas theme with various fruits and vegetables. Some of the displays were too beautiful to be eaten. The little chefs were appreciated for their innovative ideas and their ability to manoeuvre the materials for presenting lip smacking fruit decoration.
