EDUCATIONAL TRIP TO SINGAPORE
(Session-2023-24)
Educational Tours for students is a pragmatic Learning platform that provides them with an opportunity to collaborate among themselves, to integrate new perspectives with informal environments to enhance learning initiatives, skill development and most importantly to apply skills, values and general knowledge in new settings. Continuing with the spirit of ‘ Holistic Development’ a seven day trip was organised by Jaypee Public School, Greater Noida from June 27th 2023 to July 3rd 2023 with following students ie: Ananya Gupta (Gr XII C), Sarthak Bansal ( of Gr IX A) and Riddhi Sharma (Gr VIII A) that majorly focused on following aspects: Effective Learning, Personal Development, Deepen social and Historical knowledge, Develop Critical Thinking, Respect for Culture, Enhanced Perspective, Effective Communication and most important the Accountability and being Independent on a foreign land.
Trip included visit to Merlion (ie: the official Mascot of Singapore), Visit to ‘Night safari’ , ‘Universal Studios’ , A session on ‘ Apple Work shop’ (to enhance the technological knowledge of students) at Marina Bay Sands, Sand Sky Park, Art and Science Museum, ‘ New water Plant’ , Madame Tussaud’s, Ultimate Star Experience, Wings of Time , Visit to ‘Santosa Island’ (cable car ride), Muesum and Shopping at ‘Orchard Road’.
The trip was surely a wonderful amalgamation of Creating life long connections, Study abroad opportunities and benefiting our country through gaining a competitive edge and building upon one’s vocabulary in turn strengthening students as life long learners.
EDUCATIONAL TRIP TO NASA
Jaypee Public School, Greater Noida in collaboration with Astro Tourism Pvt. Ltd. organised an educational tour from 15 June 2019 to 26 June 2019 whereby seven students of grades X and XII along with two chaperones, visited various cities of the USA.
At Kennedy Space Centre, Orlando, students came to know about actual space shuttles like Atlantis, experienced a real-life rocket launch simulation, had lunch with an astronaut Mr Norman Thagard and learnt about his final space exploration mission as Soviet Cosmonaut. Students came to know about NASA’s future plans to send humans to Mars on a three-year trip via Moon. They got to know about various space programmes through a wide array of interactive experiences.
Students witnessed an awestruck experience at Universal Adventure Park with amazing and heart throbbing adventure rides.
Watching serene waves crashing against the shore at famous ‘Cocoa Beach’ was another delightful sight. Where students felt relaxed to feel cool water and eye catching landscape.
At Disney World-Magic Kingdom they enjoyed Move ‘n’ Shake Dance Parade, many adventure rides and witnessed the fireworks above Cinderella Castle before calling it a day. The Maid of the Mist boat tour of the picturesque landscape of Niagara falls was a phenomenal experience. The beauty of Niagara Falls is surely enough to convince anyone that it is a piece of Heaven itself. Students also toured the main corridors of Harvard and Massachusetts Institute of Technology campus grounds. They learnt many interesting facts about those Universities. On entering New York City - students went to One World Observatory and saw the 360 degree view of all the skyscrapers of NYC. They also took a ferry to Liberty Island and saw the Statue of Liberty, an iconic landmark.
Overall the trip turned out to be the most in sightful learning experience which was not merely an educational and social exposure but memories to be cherished for years to come.
EDUCATIONAL TRIP TO LONDON
Two weeks program at Felsted Summer School in London gave an opportunity to our students to know about the British culture and teaching learning practices.
The program was well designed which allowed every child to learn as much as possible, encouraging cross- cultural integration and the development of wide range of character building and leadership skills.
